How do I join the Friends of Tring Reservoirs?

Who are we?

We are a local conservation organisation formed back in in 1993 to promote the conservation of the Tring Reservoirs, which together form an important Site of Special Scientific Interest. With Over 400 Members, FoTR provides a significant voice in the local environment. FoTR became a charity in 1999.

Our key objectives are to work to preserve and conserve the flora, fauna and natural environment of Tring Reservoirs and surrounding areas, which we do through our membership of several important local management and consultation committees and by promoting our aims to our members and the public.

As well as this website, we produce an informative newsletter, Grebe, which is published three-times-a-year, organise and run walks and attend various events around the area.

How do I join?

We deliberately try to keep our membership subscriptions as low as possible, as the more members we have, the stronger our voice.

Our subsciptions, which include the Grebe newsletter, are £4 for an individual, £6 for a couple or family living at the same address, or £2 for under 18 year-olds, although you are always welcome to donate more if you wish.

To join, simply download a Membership Application Form and post it, with your cheque, to the address on the form. Thank you.

Already a Member?

If you were a member last year and have simply overlooked your renewal, you can download a membership renewal form here, which you can complete and send back to us with your cheque.

If your membership has lapsed for more than one year, you should re-join as if you are a new member. Thank you.
